Dress Codes

General Admission
There is no specific dress code for guests purchasing general admission tickets.

Reserved Seating Areas

Gift Shops

The Churchill Downs Store is located on the 1st level, inside Admission Gate 17, and is open from the time gates open until one hour after the last race. There is also a gift shop at the Kentucky Derby Museum, located just outside Admission Gate 1.

Guest Feedback

Guest comment cards and forms can be filled out at any of the Guest Services Booths or at any of the guest comment boxes located throughout the facility.

Guest Services Booths

Guest Services Booths are located inside Admission Gates 10 and 17. Guest Services Representatives, wearing the color red, are available to assist visitors with information concerning the facility, directions, tours and seating locations. Wheelchairs are also available at the Guest Services Booths.

Handicapped Accessibility & Seating

Wheelchair Reservations
Wheelchairs may be reserved at the Guest Services Booths located inside Admission Gates 10 and 17. Guests needing assistance may be dropped off at the Gate 10 Longfield Parking Lot valet where they will be met by a Guest Services Representative with a wheelchair. The Guest Services Representative will escort the guest to their seat and make arrangements to pick them up at the end of the race day.

Handicapped Accessible Parking
Handicapped Parking is available in the Longfield Parking Lot located at Parking Gate 10 off of Longfield Avenue on a first come first served basis.

Handicapped Accessible Seating
Handicapped seating is complimentary and available on a first come, first served basis on the first and second floors of the Clubhouse.

First Floor
For handicapped accessible seating on the first floor use the ramps from section 113-115,116/117, or 117/118. Rows B and D are handicapped accessible and made available on a first come first served basis.

Second Floor
For handicapped accessible seating on the second floor take the handicapped elevator (located near the Skye Terrace Elevator) to the second floor. Turn left off of the elevator and proceed through the double doors. The following boxes are designated handicapped accessible: Section 115: K16, K17, L02, L03, L04, K08; Section 116: K03, K09.


How to Cash Your Tickets

Patrons may cash their tickets beginning 30 minutes prior to the first race or mutuel tickets can be sent by certified or registered mail to:

Please keep a copy of the ticket for your records and allow 60 days for a response.

Lost and Found

If you are looking for a lost item, or wish to turn in a found item, Lost and Found is located at the Guest Services Booth on the 2nd floor of the Clubhouse.

Tours

Organized tours of the facility, barns and backside area are offered by the Kentucky Derby Museum. Please call (502) 637-1111 to schedule a tour of Churchill Downs. Casual tours for your party can be arranged during a race day through a Guest Services Representative. These tours are shorter in duration and do not begin until after Race 2. Stop by a Guest Services Booth near Admission Gates 10 or 17 for more information.
