Remembering Alysheba

Alysheba, winner of the 1987 Kentucky Derby and 1988 Horse of the Year, was euthanized on March 27 at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, Ky., due to injuries suffered in a fall at the Kentucky Horse Park.  The son of Alydar was 25.  Click the links at right for more photos from Alysheba's historic Kentucky Derby victory in 1987.
