Family-Friendly Double Feature Includes Secretariat and Racing Stripes
LOUISVILLE, KY (Wednesday, June 26, 2019) -- Churchill Downs today announced that it will show two family-friendly racing movies on the Big Board – one of the world’s largest 4k video boards -- at Movies in the Infield on Saturday, August 10, 2019. The double feature will include racing favorites Racing Stripes and Secretariat. The event, in partnership with iHeartRadio, will take place in the Infield and also feature a play area for kids with bounce houses and concessions for purchase. Tickets are $5 and available at www.ChurchillDowns.com/movies and at the event. Children under two are free.
The opening movie Racing Stripes (PG) will delight children of all ages with a story about a zebra who thinks he’s a racehorse and saddles up with the best of 'em to overcome the odds to run in the big race. The 2010 movie Secretariat will follow with a portrait of Triple Crown winner and unlikely horse-racing superstar Secretariat, chronicling his career alongside industry outsider Penny Chenery as she navigates her way through the male-dominated world of horse racing.

Guest are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Parking is free and guests can enter through the Paddock Gate and walk through the Infield tunnel.
