Churchill Downs' Trackside OTB Closed Thursday, Jan. 20, In Anticipation of Winter Storm

An approaching winter storm has prompted Churchill Downs officials to cancel simulcast wagering for Thursday, Jan. 20, at its Trackside at Churchill Downs off-track betting facility.

The National Weather Service has issued a “Winter Storm Warning” for Louisville and the surrounding area until 1 a.m. (EST) on Friday, Jan. 21, and moderate-to-heavy snow is forecast for the area through Thursday afternoon.

Churchill Downs officials expect Trackside at Churchill OTB to be open on Friday, Jan. 21, but a final decision will be made following a review of weather and road conditions Friday morning.
