Kentucky Harvest Thanksgiving Food Drive This Weekend; Two Canned Goods for Free Admission

(November 20, 2008) – Churchill Downs will offer free general admission Friday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 23 to all patrons who donate two non-perishable canned goods in conjunction with the Kentucky Harvest Thanksgiving Food Drive, sponsored by Forcht Bank.

The canned goods can be exchanged for complimentary admission passes on those dates at Churchill Downs’ Gates 10 and 17 or any Louisville area Forcht Bank through Saturday,   Nov. 22.

All donations will benefit Kentucky Harvest, which was founded in 1987 to provide food to those in need. For more information about Kentucky Harvest, please log onto kyharvest.com or call (502) 589-FOOD.

Churchill Downs will offer 10 live races each of those days starting at 12:40 p.m. ET. Admission gates open at 11 a.m.
