The 151st Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve is the world’s Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports®. And this year, the excitement is bigger than ever. In 2025, we celebrate an incredible 151 years of history, making this a monumental celebration. You'll have the opportunity to witness the world's most promising 3-year-old thoroughbreds as they come together to compete for the cherished garland of roses. It's a race that defines the pinnacle of horse racing excitement.

But the Kentucky Derby is about more than just the race; it's an immersive experience. Sip on a refreshing mint julep, adorn yourself with a stunning hat, and join the chorus of fellow race enthusiasts as we sing along to the cherished tune 'My Old Kentucky Home”. This is more than a day at the races; it's a grand celebration of 150 years of tradition, history, and the thrilling spirit of the Kentucky Derby.

PARKING INFORMATION

For Derby Week events, excluding Dawn at the Downs, Kentucky Derby, and Kentucky Oaks, parking is available for purchase through Ticketmaster. Please note that onsite parking at Churchill Downs is extremely limited. As an alternative, parking at the Kentucky Exposition Center is included with your ticket for each individual Derby Week day. It is essential to pre-purchase any onsite parking before April 15th. Upon purchase, your parking pass will be mailed to the address on file via UPS prior to the event. Please be aware that no additional onsite parking will be sold after this date, as complimentary parking and shuttle services are provided at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
